Join us for the 23RD Annual Hopecam 5K Run/Walk to support kids with cancer. We are offering both an in-person & virtual 5K this year!

Where: In-person: 1890 Preston White Dr, Reston, VA.
Virtual: Anywhere, anytime!
On-line registration will close on May 4th at 8:00 pm
Race Swag/Packet Pick-up: All pre-registered participants will receive a commemorative Hopecam race shirt and cool race swag. In-person racers will pick up their swag bags at the PR Reston store on Saturday, May 6 from 1:30-3:00 pm or on race day starting at 7:30 am.
Shipping is included for those doing the Virtual 5K
Awards: Will be given to the top 3 overall male and female Adult (16 & Over) finishers, the top 3 overall male and female Youth (15 & Under) finishers and then the top male and female finisher in the following age groups: 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.
Teams and Sponsorship: Looking for a team-building opportunity? Start a team! We will have competitions with awards for the largest team and the team that raises the most money for Hopecam. About the Race Course: The Hopecam 5K is a USATF certified race-fast and flat for those wanting to set a personal best record. This is also the perfect race for families featuring an easy course for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels.
Registration is $40 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under
All pre-registered participants will receive a commemorative Hopecam race shirt and cool race swag.
Hopecam’s 5K is one of our largest annual fundraising events and is critical to our ability to connect children with cancer to their classmates, friends and support systems. The average cost of connecting a child is approx. $1,500. 71% of the children helped by Hopecam attend Title 1 (low-income) schools, and 50% cannot afford internet access, which Hopecam provides.
